Further, these students often exhibit a wide range of academic, physical, and social abilities or skills.
In this course, we are going to focus on the following strategies by helping all adult learners succeed in our classrooms.
We will identify our biases and cultural proficiency; · analyze course materials and tests for indications of bias; reviews teaching strategies and skills that meet the needs of various populations, including language sensitivity; look at legal issues that face public and private institutions regarding discrimination; · analyze various case studies .

All these questions and more will be answered in this program. You can choose which modules you need---and learn how to develop, market, and write your course so that your students can get the certification or credits they need.

" I wanted to thank you for the help in getting my first course approved. I’m not sure NCREC would have approved it so quickly had I not made adjustments to the course material based on the information I received in your class. "--John B. Walker

"I appreciate your comments after the writing assignments. It's great to have personal feedback as if I was there. You are a great teacher even in this format. It's hard to online self-paced, but you seem to have embraced it and made it work. Again, thanks for being a great teacher." --Suzanne Weber

"I loved this course and wish I had taken this course back when I started training back in 1983. Even in 1986 when I became a national trainer for Coldwell Banker in 1986 I never had this kind of information--mostly because they gave us the program and then we taught them. But I was the head trainer for the North and South Carolina companies, and there were times I needed to create programs on my own. This would have made my life so much better. I have been through numerous train- the-trainer programs but none taught me as much as you have in this course. I will start adding some things to CE to make them more interesting. Thank you again for taking the time to share your knowledge with all of us." --Gerry Nichols
"I think this course was awesome. I cannot think of any content that should be added. I would take a similar course on "How to Be an Effective Adult Educator," not to take away from this course but only to get a different perspective. This course exceeded my expectations. Thank you for engaging me and keeping me engaged. I thought I was going to be able to watch a video for 6 hours and get a course completion certificate. I was not just bored down with video content that I could just play while I do other things." --James Dycallon
"The course was fantastic for anyone who is looking to create their own courses. I have a colleague who is thinking about it as well and I will share the course with her for sure."--Christopher Cox
"I think you did a magnificent job. I learned most of this material over the years through the school of hard knocks. I wish I had had a guide when I began teaching in 1989. I learned even more through your program. I'm sitting here thinking, 'better late than never.'--Anne Rasheed

"Many thanks, again, for the course and for all of your responsiveness. While much about the course was great, and this may seem a unimportant compliment, I do a LOT of my CE on-line for common/obvious reasons, and the biggest complaint is that no one responds or is truly available to students (despite website claims and navigation assuring you otherwise). Your clear and consistent responses and response TIME is greatly appreciated ALMOST as much as the great teaching." --David T. Trueb
"I finished the course last night - and can I say - this is AMAZING! You give so much information in a way that is easy to understand and really illustrate how it is applied in real life! I sincerely hope you know how great this is. Every teacher should take this as a course, regardless of whether they write courses or not. And your Handbook--where was this 12 years ago when I started teaching? Every teacher needs this! Great job!" --Kandyce Ellis
"This is valuable information for instructors who want to write effective CE courses. It provides guidance on goals, objectives, finding content, organizational methods, evaluation techniques, and test writing tips. The course is full of external resources like videos, handouts, demonstrations, and website suggestions.
