New Zoom courses! New on-demand electives!
Engaging courses in a variety of comfortable settings throughout NC.
Termed "Synchronous" Classes
Great customer service.
Approved by the NC Real Estate Commission for elective credit.
On June 3rd, the NCREC announced that schools and educations will be able to offer both the Update courses (GENUP and BICUP) and electives using Zoom and other online platforms forever.
We have yet to see if or when in-person classes will begin. That will depend on Governor Cooper's decisions regarding opening schools and businesses and my ability to meet health standards.
I will continue to use Zoom, which is an easy-to-use free meeting platform. I am an experienced distance educator and have used similar technology before, and it can be quite effective. You can see my schedule on this website.
You will need to register and pay for the course just as you always have, and then you will be sent a link for joining the webinar. You will need to have a webcam (camera) to participate. You can use a laptop, desktop, or tablet. The use of a smart phone is not acceptable.
WHICH CLASSES DO I TAKE?
If you did not complete your CE for the license year July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, you need to make them up to stay active:
For the current year, July, 1 2020 to June 30, 2021, you have to take the appropriate Update (GENUP or BICUP) and an elective by June 10, 2021.
All classes will be available by Zoom--updates and electives. You can also take on-demand elective courses over a 30 day period.
DO I NEED AN ETHICS COURSE?
It depends.Read more here.
I'll keep you posted.
